The award-winning drama follows Marty Byrde (Jason Bateman), a financial planner who moves with his family to the Ozarks. Alongside wife Wendy (Laura Linney) and their two children, Marty is on the move after a money-laundering scheme goes wrong, forcing him to pay off a substantial debt to a Mexican drug lord in order to keep his family safe. The new batch of episodes sees events pick up six months following the season 2 finale, and the casino is up and running, but Marty and Wendy are fighting for control of the family's destiny and Marty is pushing to keep the status quo. However, aided by an alliance with Helen Pierce (Janet McTeer) and drug cartel leader Omar Navarro (Felix Solis), Wendy plots for expansion.
