EastEnders spoilers follow. Tina Carter has explained her injuries at the time of Ian Beale's attack in the Vic in EastEnders. Last week, multiple suspects were teased for the shocking attack, which left Ian unconscious throughout most of Monday's (December 7) episode. However, one suspect was vaulted to the forefront of everyone's suspicion when Tina Carter (Luisa Bradshaw-White) was shown breaking into Ian's house — and later emerging with blood on her hands and nose. In Monday's (December 7) episode, Tina was panicked when she found out that Ian had been rushed to the hospital, especially since she'd earlier left Kathy a voicemail confessing "something had happened earlier" with her and Ian. Tina confided in Shirley that she had indeed had a physical brawl with Ian where she'd injured him — and he drew her blood as well by striking her.
"I wasn't going to stand for it, so I went for him, and he tripped and fell and hit the table," she remembered. As Tina recalled, Ian was "dazed" as she left his house, but worried that he later collapsed once he returned to The Vic. While Shirley (Linda Henry) was obviously concerned by the revelation, she tried to calm Tina's nerves by saying that the injuries from the brawl were unlikely to have caused Ian's collapse. "You left him breathing in the house," she insisted. "As far as anybody else is concerned, you didn't even see Ian Beale yesterday… You've got to keep your head down, understand? And you cut your lip going up those stairs after you had a few. "There's nothing that can pin you to Ian Beale." The Carters were struggling with uncertainty, while Ian finally awoke at the hospital. He struggled to reveal the name of his attacker, but he fell back unconscious before he could reveal the answer. Tomorrow night's episode will include bombshell scenes as one Walford resident is arrested for Ian's attack, but have the coppers found the right person?
