GAME has opened preorders for the brand new Xbox console. The website has already seen high demand for the Xbox Series X this morning (November 24). A virtual queue has formed online with a wait time of around 15 minutes - although it's currently taking a little longer than that. Once customers are in the website states: "When it is your turn, you will have 30 minutes to complete your order. Thank you for your patience.".
The consoles are expected to be in high demand ahead of Christmas, but any orders made through GAME will be released on December 24, so it's very unlikely they'll arrive in time for Christmas. There are a number of bundles available, starting from £554.95 going up to £682.93 with games including FIFA 21, Call of Duty and Assassin's Creed Valhalla. It comes after the launch of the new PS5 last week (November 20) which saw virtual queues online of people trying to snap them up in time for Christmas, while others queued in person to pick theirs up in-store. Currently a number of retailers including Argos, Game, John Lewis, Very and Amazon are sold-out of the new PlayStation console, with gamers hoping they're back in stock soon.
