Trees have been brought down across Devon and Cornwall with a number of roads blocked on Wednesday morning. It comes after a night of violent storms with thunder and lightning rolling across the region around midnight. Sudden heavy rain brought down trees which are blocking routes. There is currently a yellow weather warning in place which covers the whole of Devon and parts of Cornwall.
