Jose Mourinho will be looking to get Tottenham Hotspur back on track against Brighton as the two teams do battle in the Premier League on Sunday evening. Spurs host Graham Potter's side with ambitions of clambering up the table and they could almost reach the summit if results go their way. Heading into today's match, Tottenham currently sit seventh in the Premier League table, knowing that a win could see them leap up into second place. Mourinho was unhappy with his players' efforts in the 1-0 defeat to Royal Antwerp in the Europa League in Belgium on Thursday night. He will be looking for Harry Kane & Co to up their efforts and win their first Premier League home game of the season.

The game kicks off at 7.15pm at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium and for UK viewers is available only via Sky Sports Box Office or on Now TV. Our Spurs correspondent Alasdair Gold will be at the game and providing live updates, analysis, and reaction from inside the home of the Lilywhites. Stay tuned to our live blog below for updates throughout the day. Brighton under real pressure, they cannot get it clear. Hacked half clear by Bassouma, but really just up in the air...

Kane is under it on the edge of the area but he just waits for a man to come in and foul him... it's that well known hatchet man Adam Lallana. He has barged Kane over. Initially a freekick given but the VAR check will show that Kane is just inside the area. That is going to be a penalty! Naive from Lallana. Kane was facing the goal, the ball was above him and behind him. No real way for him to play the ball meaningfully. Lallana, travelling back towards his own goal, leaped high in the air like an Aussie Rules player and just shoved him in the back. Kane needed no second invitation to hit the turf.
