An air ambulance has landed and a major Newmarket road is closed after a child was 'hit by a bus'. Residents in the area around Exning Road have taken to social media after spotting paramedics, police and fire rushing through the town. The B1103 Exning Road has been closed in both directions near Croft Road and Laureate School after the accident. The accident and closure is affecting traffic between Exning and Newmarket. Suffolk Police tweeted: "Emergency services are currently on scene of a serious road traffic collision in Newmarket.
