WWE Extreme Rules 2020 results, highlights: The Fiend made a return in the non-title match against Braun Strowman at The Horror Show. It all began when Braun rolled up in his truck and Bray was waiting in his rocking chair. The Swamp Fight also featured a cameo appearance from Sister Abigail (Alexa Bliss) and the match ended when Bray Wyatt being thrown into the swamp, only to resurface as The Fiend before Extreme Rules went off the air. Eye for an Eye Match: Seth Rollins def. Rey Mysterio The Monday Night Messiah Seth Rollins was seen going to extreme lengths to win in the first-ever Eye for an Eye Match.

The clash saw Rollins hit his Stomp, leaving Mysterio defenceless. Mysterio received medical attention after the gruesome conclusions. WWE EXTREME RULES RESULTS: Sasha Banks def. Asuka Drew McIntyre def. Dolph Ziggler Shinsuke Nakamura & Cesaro def.

The New Day Kevin Owens def. Murph Now with WWE's The Horror Show at Extreme Rules ended, the company will turn its full attention towards its second-biggest annual pay-per-view, SummerSlam. No matches have been announced, as of now and that could change after Monday Night Raw. 3 of 4 As Sasha Banks and Bayley celebrated their high jinks, a controversial screwjob that saw them abscond with the Raw Women's Championship on Sunday, it became clear that there is one match fans must see out of The Golden Role Models before their inevitable split: a showdown with two other renowned besties, Trish Stratus and Lita. Yes, Stratus has stated before that her contest with Charlotte Flair at SummerSlam a year ago was her retirement match. Still, if there were ever one match that has to appeal to her, it is the opportunity to team with her best friend and greatest rival to battle Bayley and Banks in a dream tag team match that could easily headline any show on which it appears.

Banks and Bayley are as hot an act as WWE has at this point and, arguably, even better than they were at the height of the Four Horsewomen. Such a match would not only captivate audiences but serve as that last little push the SmackDown competitors need to cement themselves as two of the best to lace a pair of boots. Then there is the legitimacy that comes with such a victory. Again, Stratus is likely enjoying her post-wrestling life without feeling the itch to get back in the ring and take bumps, but the idea of a showdown with The Boss and The Role Model feels like one last bucket list item for both her and Lita to cross off their Hall of Fame resumes. WWE's experiments with cinematic fights continue with Bray Wyatt and Braun Strowman dishing out a slow, physiological Swamp Fight that seemed to have left Twitterverse unimpressed.

Both the cinematic matches drew positive reviews and came at the right time with fanless arenas robbing the WWE events of its electric atmosphere during coronavirus pandemic. The contest began with Strowman arriving in a truck as Wyatt waited in a rocking chair.

Strowman seemed to have prevailed as he pushed Wyatt into the swamp. However, Wyatt made a surprising appearance as The Fiend, dragging Strowman along with him into the swamp with Extreme Rules going off the air. From Bray Wyatt conesting against Braun Strowman in a Swamp Fight to Rey Mysterio losing an eye during an eye-for-an-eye showdown with Seth Rollins, it would not be wrong to say that the WWE Extreme Rules 2020 was aptly titled 'The Horror Show'. The main event of the night started after Strowman arrived at the venue in a truck. Wyatt was already waiting for his opponent in a rocking chair. Suddenly the screen goes blank and Strowman was ambushed by masked men. Alexa Bliss also made a cameo appearance. After several twists and turns, Strowman managed to kick Wyatt into the swamp and won the bout. Here are all the results from the event held on Sunday: Kickoff Show: Kevin Owens vs Murphy – Owens won via pinfall Smackdown Tag Team Championship: The New Day (c) vs. Shinsuke Nakamura & Cesaro (Tables Match) – Nakamura and Cesaro claim the title.
